After countless hours dreaming, creating, testing, and refining, I’m so excited to finally introduce my new business — Thistle & Fern Botanical Body Care.
I started this venture because I wanted something I felt was missing: beautifully made body care products with high-quality ingredients, luxurious scents, and formulas I could actually feel good about using every day – not only for myself, but also for the delicate skin of my children.
Like many people, I became increasingly frustrated with the harsh chemicals, synthetic fragrances, and unnecessary fillers found in so many commercial products. I wanted skincare that felt indulgent and effective while still being rooted in nature.
I thoughtfully crafted every Thistle & Fern product with botanical ingredients and essential oil blends designed to nourish the skin and create a calming, elevated self-care experience.
I built this brand from a genuine love of simplicity, beautiful scents, and healthy skin — and I’m incredibly grateful to finally share it with you all.

Ingredients
At Thistle & Fern, I believe body care should feel as good as it looks.
I make each product in small batches with thoughtfully selected ingredients chosen for their purpose, performance, and benefit in the finished formula. I keep formulations intentional and don’t add ingredients simply for how they sound on a label.
Depending on the product, my formulations may include ingredients such as:
Unrefined Shea Butter
A rich plant butter that softens, soothes, and conditions skin. In its unadulterated state, it is loaded with antioxidants Vitamin E and A which help protect skin from environmental damage.
Jojoba Oil
A lightweight botanical oil that deeply moisturizes skin while still maintaining a light feel as it mimics the natural oils in our skin.
Sweet Almond Oil
A lightweight, nourishing plant oil that contributes softness by locking in moisture with a smooth finish. It also fights free radicals with Vitamin E and A.
Vegetable Glycerin
A humectant that helps draw in and retain moisture in dehydrated skin cells.
Vitamin E
Used in select formulations to help protect oils from oxidation while providing another layer of skin-conditioning benefits.
Botanical & Essential Oils
Selected essential oils are used to create Thistle & Fern's signature scent profiles. None of Thistle & Fern products contain synthetic fragrances.
Ingredients vary by product, and every ingredient is listed on the individual product label.

Small-Batch Production
Every Thistle & Fern product is made in small batches rather than mass produced. This allows me to pay close attention to each formula, batch, and finished product.
Thoughtful Formulation
I aim to keep formulations purposeful and uncomplicated, using ingredients that serve a specific function in the product.
Botanical Inspiration
Plants and botanicals are at the heart of the Thistle & Fern aesthetic and product philosophy. When botanical ingredients are used, they are selected for their intended role in the formula—not simply for appearance.
Essential-Oil Scent
For products formulated with aromatic ingredients, I use essential oils and other botanical aromatic materials appropriate to the formulation. Each scent is carefully blended to create a balanced experience.
Transparency
I believe you should know what you're putting on your skin. Product labels provide the ingredient information required for the product, and I strive to make ingredient information clear and accessible.
Made With Care
From weighing ingredients to filling and labeling finished products, I personally make and prepare each Thistle & Fern order.
